Jennifer Cox Bell joined the National College Advising Corps staff in August 2010 as the Associate Director of Programs. Previously, she served as Senior Assistant Director of Admissions and Program Coordinator for the Carolina College Advising Corps at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As the program coordinator for the Carolina Corps, she managed all day-to-day operations of the program including supervising, recruiting and training college advisers for service in 53 high schools statewide. Jennie's background is in undergraduate admissions and she served as Assistant Director of Admissions in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at UNC-Chapel Hill. In this role she focused on transfer and arts admissions and worked with the Carolina Student Transfer Excellence Program which helps students from low- to moderate- income backgrounds transfer successfully to Carolina from partner community colleges. Jennie holds two degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: a bachelor of music ('02) and master of arts in teaching ('03). Additionally, she holds a master of music degree in clarinet performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
